I was just hinking I need a notebook to makes notes of the various knitting projects that I have on the go. Otherwise I go away from them for a few weeks and come back and can't remember what size of the pattern I'm making etc. etc. Then I remembered this journal. I am enraptured with some of their cardigans. Leticia, Marcella, Madeline and Amelie are all to die for! They're so sexy and would look beautiful worn either dressy or casual and I'd be so proud that I had such a lovely garment I made myself.

New Knitty
This season's new Knitty is a really good one! It's the best I can remember in a long time.
I love Dahlia and I think I'll be making it, even though I don't really dress that feminine normally (jeans and punk tshirt ftw), but I would like to dresss that way sometimes.

Socks and odds
Hoo, I haven't posted in aaages. I finished the "Monkey" socks from Knitty. I'm happy with them but I still say the stitch would have showed up nicer with plain yarn. But of course, all my sock yarn is either varigated or self-patterning. If I'd have been told I'd ever want plain sock yarn a year or two ago after I had heard of self-patterning ( Read more... ) -
I've done it again!
I ruined one of my favourite knitted hoodies in the wash! It was a lovely green and blue hoodie inspired by the colours of the seaside down in Kerry and now it's shrunk to about half the size! I don't think you can even get that yarn anymore. Woe ( Read more... ) -
WIP Sock
I'm making Monkey from the last season's Knitty. It's so fun! I'm loving it! It also looks quiet complicated (even though it's really not) so I'm proud of myself!
Even though I love the Opal sock yarn I'm using, I think it would have looked better on a plainer sock and vice versa the lace pattern would have looked better with a less "busy" yarn ( Read more... ) -
Oh yeah and...
Does anyone know where you can print out graph paper, without them asking you a load of questions about how many stitches and inches and all that? I used to have a link to one that would just print off a standard page of it but I lost my bookmarks last time my computer went kaput.
