I am so sorry to hear this. I know how devistating it can be to get close to students and have something like this happen. We shouldn't have to deal with it, but it happens and it sucks. The relationship between a teacher and a student is so unique..it's not quite a friendship, not quite parent/child, not quite caretaker, not quite stranger. It makes something like this all the more difficult to deal with.
I love you, sweetie...hang in there.
