omg.. ima register person too and i swear to god.. customers know exactly what pisses you off & say it on purpose. lol like in my store.. we sell dvds and if its a boxset it makes the alarm go off. so me being a nice cashier warn them and i swear 8/10 ppl always replay with "so no ones gunna run after me" and im just like no. lol its crazy..

No one ever said that to me when I worked in a store, do you know why? Because if it didn't scan on the first try, I really did give it to them for free so they never even had a chance. I did my best to avoid talking to the customers at all costs. I let a guy leave with 170 bucks worth of stuff once because I didn't want to deal with his coupons. Boy did I get yelled at for that one.
