That is an expensive set of tests, even with insurance. But, it's definitely something to get checked. I stopped breathing 90 times in one hour. See if you can beat that!! ;)

hm...what all went into the test? i remember you had posted about it a while back, but i'm curious about it...i'm gonna get in touch with someplace soon to get an idea of when i can do this and how much it will cost...

Mine consisted of a consultation that cost me a few hundred dollars. Then, a sleep study (wired up with electrodes), which was another couple hundred after insurance. Then, I had to rent the CPAP machine and buy the mask and supplies which were about $200. Then, another sleep study WITH the machine. And then my insurance didn't cover the machine anymore, so I had to return it, or buy it for $1200. I hated the machine, and all told, I spent over $1000 on that experiment. And that doesn't include the referral to the ear nose and throat guy about my nose.
