Sooo, I'm back from spending 5 months living at my mom's house, she had three surgeries in three months, she is fine now. I managed, with no internet, no rock music, and driving back and forth from her house and mine taking care of my husband and daughter. BTW My husband is a saint. I have been watching the Food Network lately 'Good Eats' in particular. I watched an episode about 'fruit cake' the host makes a 'Free Range Fruit Cake'. I decided that it sounded good so I made some, delicious. The thing I have always hated about the traditional fruit cake is the 'candied' fruit. I am going to live(I think). I have had a virus since May 7th... yes that long. Tuesday I actually had enough energy to do 2 loads of laundry and cook dinner.
