hmm....i think the breakfast club is an awesome movie. even though parts are really stupid....the overall moral of the story is good....and what ends up happening is true for the most part.....and it's funny....and jsut a classic....so sorry gabe....the movie is awesome even if i can't realy explain why

here's my problem with the breakfast club: theres no resolution for the geeky kid. the art girl comes out of her shell and hooks up with the jock who gets sensitive, the prep learns to losen up she and johny bender get together and he stops being an asshole. the geek gets to write a letter? now i couldnt really connect with anyone in the movie but if i had to pick one its probably the geek, so what is that telling me? sorry, you dont get to have a happy ending. sure you were suicidal over a bad grade, but you got talked down for a bit. but none of us are going to acknowledge your presence ever again so in a couple weeks if you bomb something else out comes the flair gun again. really positive lesson there.

as for the rat, i dont know how to respond apart from munch (i still dont understand munch but it just feels right here)
