Thanksgiving is such a weird holiday. I love all the good food and I love the idea of togetherness but when I get there I realize I can't eat as much food as I planned and I feel really awkward around all my relatives. So tonight was basically the worst bat mitzvah I've ever been to. The service was bad, the party was bad, the music was bad, the food (which didn't show up until 11) was bad. So clearly the logical thing to do was for my aunt to get abusive and take a picture of me holding a martini.
