I blame Vick's futility on Jim Mora, more then Vick himself. And I am more in favor of making Vick a wide reciever, and then just putting him all over the place and doing a million different things with him. But yeah, your on the right track.

Well I think a lot of it has to do with Mora but I'm of the opinion that not just anyone with a strong throwing arm can lead a football team and Michael Vick does not have the something that's needed, although his brother Marcus does.

Why wide reciever? I honestly don't understand the logic there, mainly because I don't remember anyone saying that quarterback/fullback to wide out is a logical transition.

Well, Matt Jones made the transition successfully. Besides, this way Vick could do reverses, reverse options, wide screens...

I still say that having him line up in the backfield gives you a lot more room for creativity in play calling.
