corpus_yaoi who wanted something to compare her translations to. This is only the first section of this month's issue of the novel, but none the less here it is.
I had a fun time working on this, and depending on my work schedule this week I may or may not continue.

So good! Also: there's so much international STUFF in there, it's hard to know what's from where (like, the numbers used as names! it's musical languages!). And the invented words.
You're really going to go for level 2 instead of level 1?!

When I translate songs I agonize about making it as close to the original Japanese as possible. I appreciate the lyrics more if they sound Japanesey even in English. But with this I wanted it to flow like a novel written in English. I'm sure you noticed I put tags after the speech whereas there is very little of that in the original text. Haha Now no one will get confused!

I hope you take up all the chapters :D But I can understand how hard it is to translate, while keeping both the original meaning and flow of the sentences in the translated language xD If you understand what it means ;)
Oh, and Duo is still talking like he used to when he was a kid xP
I wish the story would speed up and we could get more info. And I want an English release of this novel too :D
