Day of...Traffic Policemen? Is there really holiday for that?

kol_shevik July 1 2010, 01:09:54 UTC
Да. Of course. Is not as if Russia would make up silly holiday to try and take away importance of another even sillier holiday, because everyone is knowing that sillier holiday is not worth celebrating anyway.

There's more than one holiday coming up soon? [No really, she's dead serious about this. This is what happens when you live in a Japanese prison all your life.]

What, someone forget your birthday?

And really? Traffic Policemen? Why not pick a real holiday that falls on the third. We could always celebrate....Emancipation Day from the Virgin Islands. Or the anniversary of the liberation of Minsk in Belarus by the Soviets.

[....she knows a lot of random things...]

Mm, perhaps, but is not only Russia's birthday that is important of course. There are others, but they are not quite as special.

Traffic Policemen Day is real holiday! And Sister is not here to celebrate second one.

[She's trying to work it out by accent]

Drinking and ruining foolish plans of America and celebrating the hardworking Proletariat!
