We welcome applications from people with tons of roleplaying experience and people with none. The cardinal virtues of roleplayers are, I think: flexibility, creativity, respect. These count for more than experience. The game is not  quite ready for launch, but I thought I'd get the application post up now, as starting to form concrete ideas for ( Read more... )

gfhw29o4r!! I LOVE this. So so awesome. And I can definitely see her having some interactions with my ambassador, as well as potentially Petrus at the uni, and hopefully lots of other people as well! Which is to say: welcome on board :) The next thing to do will be to make a character journal but there's no rush as we're still a little way away from opening the game.

Phew! I spent a lot of time figuring her out and trying not to get any of the details wrong in accordance with this world. So what kinds of things do I keep at this character journal, or is it merely for the name when we're in-character at the main comm?

Thanks for the welcome, love! I just couldn't resist this world. :D

It is for posting your posts at the main comm. See estdeus_innobis for examples! And if you don't want to have to log in and out, lj-login is a cool tool - for firefox and there's juggler for Chrome here. You don't have to put anything in the journal itself though some people like to use it to make notes etc. An example is at one of my RP journals. :)

I HAVE NOW MADE A CHARACTER JOURNAL!

Man it was hard finding someone that looked even half-way like how I imagine Khadija... (and I've added an 'h' to her name, fyi).

(Also people often put their character apps and descriptions in the LJ profiles; it's handy if someone is, say, writing a tag and suddenly can't remember if their PC is taller or shorter or younger or older than yours. F'r ez, glass-beddau.)

Welcome aboard!
