Thursday, September 17th, lunchtimeI close up the store for lunch as usual. It's been a busy sort of morning. The chill weather that came with the rain seems to have put people in mind of autumn, and so I've been selling more tea and spices. Kate O'Hara, turned 25 in May. Has lived in Excolo for a little over three years. She runs the General Store. Kate's parents died when she was 16 in a cholera epidemic. Even though every minute seems to stretch on painfully, exhaustingly, I find that hours have passed without me knowing what I have done during them.
