VIFF movies
It's been an excellent year for VIFF movies.
P. and I split an eight-ticket packet. I watched a couple movies with him, and a couple with S. They were all good, as in seriously good, an embarrassing riches of excellent film making.

A new year

I haven't been on LJ the last year, to my detriment. I find that posting here provides an outlet for my perennial overthinking. The act of writing helps me process things that non-writing activities i.e. Netflix, social media merely allows me to bury. B.C Budget Day
It's 2 C and sunny.
P. is at his dad's woodworking shop. This warms my heart.
I'm in a meh mood. Heart is heavy thinking about my brother and mom + ongoing personal issues.

A pastry day
I've filled my pastry quota for the week, thanks to Bakery Sate. I've been doing decent in cutting back on my pastries and cakes -- not as disciplined I have been in January, but not bad.
But today blew that all up. I had:

Hayden update
Our townhouse's completion date has been postponed to March 15 to April 30. Surprise, surprise.
I wrote the realtor a note asking him to please ask the developer to be more accurate in gauging completion dates. Because this is getting ridiculous.
