one of my cats is really really sick. he'll never recover so all we can do is treat the symptoms. he could have anywhere from a few weeks to a few years left although he improved almost instantly after we started treating him which the vet thinks is fantastic. what sucks is that it's highly contagious which means my other cat almost certainly has ( Read more... )

i've been looking at cars a lot lately. still debating used vs. new, but the car i want isn't really available used, plus it holds its value well. if a 3 year old car is only $2-3k less than a new one, i'd rather get the new one ( Read more... )

thanks to a flight schedule change, we spent 3 nights in Cairns before leaving for Tokyo. i wasn't too keen on dealing with the humidity there, but it was actually nice to be able to unwind a bit before heading overseas.
