You know full well of our ability to vote (aka MAKE A DIFFERENCE) yet you chose to ignore this gift. When I say make a difference, I mean that you can't really complain for the next four years about the shitty president because you in no way decided his election to office.
It seems pointless to sit around and criticize politics if you aren't going to do anything about it.
I think voting for someone would be much more productive than typing your political opinions on LJ because your actions can/will be visible for the next four years.
Is that a safe assumption?

This isn't a protest. It isn't a failure to do one's job. It is an attempt to make all citizens have an equally effective voice in selecting their representatives in Congress. Since the Republican majority in Congress is fairly slim, this was an important issue.
Agree with them or not, but don't call them unethical or shameless.
