Ack, Just managed to dig out a pesky worm from my system, bloody thing infected a signifigant portion of my more commonly used programs (gimp, openoffice.org, opera (ARGH), several of my games (including City of Heroes). just 'cause you're using one port doesn't mean there aren't others available (in other words, silly person). good luck with that.... though i don't think i've ever heard someone say the gimp is one of their more commonly used programs (there's a photoshop skin clone out for it now).

The firewall degraded my performance signifigantly when playing... yah still not the best of ideas, but ahh well, live and learn... Now I gotta try and find the install file for my firewall, since it was among the fallen.

And why in the world would I want to make the Gimp look like photoshop, I like it just the way it is.Was never a big fan of photoshop anyways, I always prefrerred Paintshop.

Hey, I swear by the GIMP... oftentimes, I swear AT it as well, but that's only user error.
