Nice ride out of Midway this morning, though quite windy. Now to go cook my ass off so I don't have to the rest of the week.

I wonder if my gyno, now that I'm 30 and all, will finally take me seriously about not wanting kids and maybe be willing to discuss more permanent methods of birth control. I could totally do without this damn uterus. Really.

*LOL* nothing like actually trying to race a bike to demonstrate just how unready you are to race a bike. I never thought I would get to a point in a sport where I was better at endurance than speed. It's an interesting place to be.

The rash on my shoulder also totally looks like the Eye of Sauron. Creepy.

Somebody stuck a flier in our mailbox soliciting for gardens to be part of the Aylesford Neighborhood Association tour of gardens this June. I feel special. :-)

Now to do something about the iris borers that are munching their way through my flowers.

My garden is shaping up really well. My decision to go with almost entirely transplants this year means I'm planting some varieties I wouldn't have chosen otherwise, but they're so much further along (and sturdier, and healthier) at this point that it's worth it. Am still alive and doing reasonably well. The odd palpitation, haven't been riding my bike, I have too many artichoke seedlings (anybody want an artichoke seedling? I'll ship).
