T and I went back through the puppy photos from way back to try and identify Butter in the crowd. I think I've positively ID'd her in two of them. One is a close-up that I'm practically certain is her (the facial expression gives it away). The other has a puppy on her side, with a big puppy belly and its ear flipped back. She's always in that ( Read more... )

Yay for Boodoo!!! Would he like to hire himself out? ;-)

Butter sounds just like a toddler! Some days have regression, some progression. BTW, Cliff (down the street) came out to see Zoe yesterday when I walked her down the street, and commented on how wonderful Butter is. He's smitten, it seems!

He'd probably do it. He's into feeling appreciated right now. I should have known there was a rodent in the house. Whenever there's a mouse in the house and he knows it, Boodoo starts catching a lot of "snakes" -- his snake-shaped catnip toys. He yowls down in the basement and when you come down, he's standing over the snake, very proud of his kill. I then praise him very much. I thought his recent spate of snake-killing was in reaction to the dog. Nope -- it indicated that there was real prey in his sights.

I'm glad that Cliff likes Butter (he's smitten with Zoe, too -- he always talks about what a good dog she is). He needs to start thinking about a trip to Alabama!

I suspect that Cliff's idea of an expensive dog is somewhat like your mom's, though...

I bet you're right. But hey, that $300 included the spaying and microchipping! Sigh...

I'm thinking neither your mom nor Cliff can use the word "microchipping" in a sentence. Not to mention put an accurate monetary value on it.

Sorry to hear about the bad day...all babies have them, though, and if you think about it, she's been awfully good since she arrived. Maybe she needed to let all the stress out. In fact, now that I think about it, I have days like that too, when I'm just not doing my tricks, or even my business, right, and I'm scared of everything. I think its a normal part of some sort of cycle, probably both for me and for Butter.

Woo Hoo Boodoo!! What a guy. We need someone to teach Mattie and Ben to BITE THEIR HEADS OFF!!! Boodoo's the man.
