Strangely numb today. I'm now officially older than my older sister ever got to be. I usually get excited about birthdays, but I think I'm subconsciously holding back on this one. Thank you, and thank you for the wonderful, wonderful birthday surprise. Your smiling faces at the front door with the beautiful flowers and fast-disappearing DELICIOUS cookies really made my day. Plus the poodle playdate. I am very lucky to count you both as friends and neighbors.
And the day of the 2-dog sleepover is one I am looking forward to -- what fun! Though perhaps not much sleep...
