Is Plato a Cairn Terrier? I didn't even know. (I think my dog i.d. skills may be spotty too!)

Yep! I only know because The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie. After seeing it a couple hundred times, I can spot a Cairn Terrier from a mile away.

I'd give a lot to be watching from a hidden place when Bill gets home this afternoon and discovers a crated Schnauzer on his porch! (BTW, I'm quite sure it's HH. It *has* to be, right? Green collar and all?)

Oh, I know. I can only imagine what his expressions will be like -- whether it's HH or not! (But especially if not.)
What a day. I'm at the point where I'll do whatever it takes to convince Bill that is IS Henry, even if he says that Henry was a blonde girl chihuahua. "Yep, then this must be Henry!" I just walked him. He didn't do anything, but I'm not surprised. I think he'll make it 'til Bill gets home. Please don't let this be the night Bill stays late...

...yeah, or leaves straight from work to go camping or something... :-> Hey, if that happens, we need to enlist Cliff as surrogate mommy for the weekend...

Oh good lord, I hadn't thought of that. With my luck, he's leaving straight from work for a month-long spiritual quest in Tibet. No doubt to help center himself after the loss of his dog.
Cliff pulled in as I was getting Hopefully Henry out of the crate for a walk, and he had obviously been checking in on the dog. He said, "Yeah, that left front paw looks hurt." Cliff is gruff, but a softie. He then gave me a container of corn to help catch chipmunks in my trap. (He's caught 39 so far -- he lets them go in Warner Park.) I think he'd definitely pitch in with Schnauzer care for the evening/weekend/month/quarter/year/decade...

Thank you! We're pretty smitten with her ourselves. (And I'm sure there will be no shortage of photos in the future.) Thanks for stopping by -- it's been quite a morning!
