I think you're right - Lizzie and I were discussing this earlier in the week, and we couldn't decide whether kits were little foxes or little raccoons.

i think foxes are kits...which isn't to say that they both aren't, of course!

...The 'pedia confirms that both are, indeed, kits! There are a bunch of other possible names for baby foxes of course (including 'pup'), but kit is widely used. Whee!
