Rar. At this rate I will soon be the only person I know who doesn't have a graduate degree. siliconrose, 2ce, and Carol already have theirs, you, teki, creidieki, kantol, dejapes, and Chris are all pursuing yours, pristis starts grad school in a couple of weeks, and cnorgard just took the GREs...
I will be in DC then, so if you want to get together, coolness.
First of all, it will take me FOREVER to get this masters, so you still might beat me. My little sister, on the other hand, will have hers this summer. From ISRAEL.
Second, when did Nicole get a masters?
Third, I have uploaded the four songs we recorded to http://www.tammymetz.com/chainsawbears (and I'm having hostmysite turn directory browsing on). I sing lead on Chainsaw Bears and Wagon Wheel, and harmony on the other two. Chain Saw Bears and Mary Begay are both original songs written by one of our band members. And it is a good name for the band, but just in case anybody doesn't know, a chainsaw bear is a wooden bear carved out with a chainsaw. I don't want anything thinking we're psycho killers or anything.
Fourth, I definitely want to get together, and at this point I can be flexible on scheduling, since I'll be there for so long. I'll also have my car.
I just listened to Wagon Wheel, but you are a REALLY GOOD SINGER. A great voice! How could I have known you for so long and not known this?! Anyway, best of luck with the band, and please keep us posted.
LOL, the guitar not so much. I'm going to have to step up my guitar playing, though, because our good guitar player needs to play other instruments (like mandolin and banjo).
