hahaha I've had pig blood cubes too. And I hate them, they taste terrible.
It's basically duck you're eating, you can taste it. It's really good! Not wrong at all. Most of the time they're pretty developed, not half-developed as they say.
The egg yolk; a part of it is just the normal yolk (which tastes just like egg yolk), while in the other part you can see some blood vessels forming, and also some kind of soft meat-but-not-really-meat stuff
It tastes pretty good, actually =) Although it does look rather scary. I was trying to convince myself that if we eat eggs and normal ducks, why not eat something in between. Kind of worked I guess.
pigblood tofu?? (Although I might have tried some chicken blood curd thing. Maybe they're similar?)
Probably hard to procure here in the Mid-west :) But if pigblood tofu is anything like black pudding (made from the same stuff), it's quite good. Definitely unhealthy, but ah well..
hehe... I can keep being Josie to you =) some people call me 'mutiara' or 'muti' or 'mut' or 'mumut' (i don't know where this came from) or 'tia' or 'ti' or 'ya' (supposedly from the last two letter of 'tia') or 'josephine' or 'josie' or 'jos' or 'jo'. anything you like =D
