Well that's awesome: Mom's found a buyer for her home. Add to that my mortgage advisor's reconfirmed that my pre-approved status, and my fancy-shmancy condo is a go.

Surgery went well. Convalescing at my Dad's place. Shoulder hurts like a bithch but I've had a week of practicing using one arm for everything. Currently being soothed by Ethan Hawke's reading of Slaughterhouse 5.

But every now and then when I'm sleeping,
I still have a dream that I'm flying,
And I wake up crying.

The local guys and I went sledding last night by Mooney's Bay. Weather was perfect for it, we'd had nothing but snow & freezing rain all week, an that night was mild with some light snowfall. There were a couple unauthorized ramps packed in, my guess by snow boarders. Naturally, machismo too over and we threw ourselves towards them. As Jordan said ( Read more... )
