After conversing with Jess on MSN about Gatineau Park & Meech Lake, I stumbled on some info that there were some 1900's era ruins. Was an experimental mill for turning fertilizer into phosphate. Was totally worth the hike out there:

I'm organizing my condo move - which is 10 months away - using the same pre-production techniques I did with AM. Date breakdowns, furnishing wish list, closing costs, etc. It shouldn't surprise me, but it's still an interesting 'mental toy'.

The Leary bros took me out to Petawawa to shoot some real firearms with a buddy from Josh's Canadian Forces days. Been over a decade since I handled a real gun; last trip to Hungary really.

Had an odd dream over the weekend I'm only recently appreciative.

The world was conquered by aliens. Unlike a show like Falling Skies, society goes on. The country is something of a dystopia... but I happen to find myself travelling between the more well off circles. Well... the papers have been singed, the deposit submitted and the financing secured. It's official: I'm getting a condo apartment next year at the Château Golf, my unit being complete June/July 2012.
