Only 10 hours to finish this comic battle!! CanIdoitcanIdoitcanIdoit??? X___X I've had such difficulty with this battle, I'm half tempted to just default- graaaaah!! I've surrendered to just getting the last pages penciled and inked and IF I can manage to color as many as I can before todays deadline...

As the keen appreciator of irony I am, I can't help but cock a crooked smile at how things turned out as I wait for the other half of the battle to post... Can't wait to see which trick bat you pulled out to handle this curveball, though.

A little dissapointed in some areas, but it only gets me excited for my next battle and how I can improve upon what I did in this battle for the upcoming one. :)

Still think Mimi should have been able to creatively stike back. The other comic was just in bad taste and that character deserves to lose. All "fuck" "fuck" and rape. Shit, I know that is what the character is about, but it doesn't mean you have to show everything. Only credit I can give is that Mimi did bounce back in his version and put up more of a fight. But he seemed to half ass and rush through his comic so you deserve the win.

I agree with you AND had planned for her to strike back in my comic, but the more I thought about it, the more I didn't want to end the subject of rape on a gag note. Rape is not funny. It shouldn't be funny. That was my difficulty and challenge to work with. Seeing that Mimi's defense and power essentially is nothing but trying to find humor in dire situations, I figured a situation where she would freeze up and not be sure how to react would work.
Mimi *did* bounce back in his version, but she also did get violated and (I think) raped and she shrugged it off as if it was nothing. Cartoon or not a forceful violation of the body would shake anyone.

I would no way intend to imply that this fight would require comedy to get out of the battle. It wouldn't fit. Especially in the other version of the comic. It would be bad taste. I really can't even stomach that other comic. Mimi does seem to have the potential to easily dispose of her challengers before anything does turn particularly nasty. Still, not having Mimi fight is in a way just as effective. Only makes that paticular challenger look worse in the longs run. It did seem like two characters that really didn't need to meet. Kind of like when Marvel Comics did that Punisher vs. Archie.
I do hope you get to have more fun with Mimi on the next challenge.
