OLYMFICS 2013: Sign ups
Welcome to the third cycle of kpop_olymfics! Make sure you read the rules carefully before signing up. If you're interested in participating in this competition and joining a team, please fill out this form!

Note: Backups are the standby members of each team. They are a part of the team, but they won't be called up to write unless one of the active writers backs out or is unable to fulfill their prompt. Ideally, each participant will contribute only one fic to the competition.
Sample answers to the form above are not indicative of the mods' biases and dislikes at all. You will not be assigned a group/pairing that you have not signed up for, but there is a chance that you may be put into a team that you did not sign up for. We are asking for pairings as well in the event that there are several of you who want to write for a particular group and we can't match your other choices with enough writers, which would force us to allot more slots for a group for which more people signed up. In this case, every team will have the same number of writers for a particular pairing.

THE TEAMS:
These are the teams you have to pick from. You may list as many as all of the teams in your application, but you will be placed into just one randomly. As much as possible, you will be put into the team you listed, but there is a chance that you may end up on a team that you did not sign up for depending on the turnout.
Team Canon - Now merged with Team Alternate Reality (AR), writers of Team Canon work within the realms of what has happened in the wonderful world of Kpop and what might have been if a few things didn't go as planned. You can have Super Junior as stars, but instead of the boys getting into a car accident you can have them run into kidnappers or something of that sort. Most events in a fic from Team Canon are expected to be based on fandom facts.
Team Alternate Universe - Writers of Team AU are free to write anything from Terminator!2NE1 to Pirate!DBSK. In order to distinguish Team AU from Team Alternate Reality (AR, now merged with Canon), we're limiting it so that Kpop as we know it does not exist in fic the writers of Team AU will write. It is possible for idols and idol groups to exist, but the story must function or exist outside this setup.
Team Future - Working with what we know now, writers of Team Future have to look down the road, five, ten, maybe even twenty years from now to see what has become of our idols.
Mods will be picking a representative from each team to serve as the single point of contact and to make sure that things are going smoothly.
