A feeling of light but it isn't necessary to read that first. This fills the prompt FUTURE: first time for my

prompts for
kradam_kiss...an anon's prompt of Adam kissing Kris' shoulder freckles and by
vanya_elda Butterfly kisses that lead to real kisses. For instance, waking up in bed to together, Kris flutters his lashes against Adam's arm, which makes Adam pull Kris into a schmoopy morning kiss.

bright_lights28 Adam trailed a hand down Kris' face, following the curve of his cheekbone to his jawline. His thumb brushed over lips still wet from their kiss just a moment before. Adam smiled; the memory of Kris moving towards him was familiar and ingrained into every thought he had of Kris. Kris met his hand then, turning his head into it. He kissed the tip of Adam's finger, and with eyes half-lidded, looked up at Adam. Adam was caught in that kiss, and Kris' smile widened.
It was reminiscent of the first time Adam had ever met Kris. Kris had been standing in the middle of a hotel lobby with a small suitcase and a guitar, the dark night behind him visible through glass. His smile had been sleepy and his eyes were soft, but they shone like stars in a desert sky, bright with truth. Adam felt as if the universe was whispering all of its secrets to him. Kris had seen him then and his smile grew and Adam remembered thinking only one thought...
Beginnings are fun.

In the morning when they woke, it would be the start of yet another beginning they shared. Of finding a way back into each others lives, with this new thing between them. It would be awkward and slightly embarrassing and utterly brilliant -- all under a bright sky.

Adam felt a whisper of breath in his ear. His eyes opened and he tried to close them again , but lost his fight against the new day. His chest was warm and his heart felt full. Kris lay atop him, one arm outstretched, passing over Adam's chest so their fingers just barely touched. The sheets rested low on his hips and Adam's eyes followed the vision of bare skin. One of Kris' shoulders was placed so that Adam could just barely lean his head down and touch his mouth to the light freckles that showed on Kris' back.
Turning his head slightly to face Kris, Adam found that the whispering of air that had awoken him was from the way Kris was rubbing his nose into Adam's ear. Adam felt a laugh build up in his chest and tried to keep quiet, not wanting to wake Kris. Judging from Kris' nose, Adam could only assume he had gotten cold. His other hand reached up to touch the arch of Kris' back and Adam could feel himself begin to shake with silent laughter.
He heard Kris yawn loudly and felt him begin to stretch like cat in the sun. The comparison only made Adam laugh harder, unable to control himself. The sudden sound made Kris' limbs jerk in shock and the shoulder Adam had been admiring came up, knocking hard into Adam's mouth.
Adam let out a pained, "Ow," at that, bringing Kris' attention to his face.
"Adam? Oh jeez, I'm sorry," Kris said, sleepily, and then he tried to sit up, pulling his bare chest away from Adam. There was a sticky peeling of skin as they pulled away from each other, and Adam yelped as his chest hair was yanked. Adam saw Kris' eyes widen. "The pineapple juice probably wasn't such a good idea, was it?" Kris said thoughtfully.
Adam looked at Kris' sincere face and just began laughing again, harder than before. After a moment, Kris' slight frown melted into a small smile and his laughter soon joined Adam's, filling the bedroom.
Eventually, Adam felt his laughter die down, but his joy remained undiminished. He smiled and answered the question, "No, Kris. The pineapple was a great idea."
Kris' smile became a grin. "Why don't I see if I can make you feel better?"
He pressed a soft kiss against Adam's still swollen lips and then began to move his lips down Adam's throat and onto his chest. Adam felt the light, soothing flick of a tongue and then another kiss. He heard himself let out a quiet moan that had nothing to do with pain. Adam looked down to where Kris was moving lower down his body. He lifted his hand to brush Kris' hair away, hoping to catch a glimpse of his eyes to make sure this was real and not a just another dream.
At Adam's touch, Kris paused and then moved his head, trying to follow the hand. Adam placed his hand against the side of Kris' head and ran his fingers through Kris' hair. It was longer than he remembered. Kris' eyes were closed and Adam waited, still hoping to see them open. He ran his thumb lightly over Kris' eyelid and felt the kiss of fluttering lashes as those beautiful eyes opened and shone.
"Am I still asleep?" Adam asked, unsure. He felt like he must be. The universe only spoke to him like this at night, in the dark. But the light poured in from Kris' bedroom window and the bed was awash in color, Kris' brown eyes too bright to be a dream.
Kris smiled and then rested his chin against Adam's hip, looking up at him. "Can I be asleep with you?"
Adam felt his heart skip a beat, then begin to pound in his chest. He was sure it would leave bruises. Kris smile would leave a mark on him forever.
"I had a dream about you the day before, you know," Kris said after a moment.
"Did you now? And what was I doing to you in this dream?" Adam's grin grew wicked and he traced his finger lightly along Kris' neck, behind his ear.
Adam watched as Kris shivered and as his eyes clouded with desire for a moment. He had never imagined that he would see that during the light of day. He had thought it would stay a passing dream that he would tuck away in the morning.
"You were...I don't know." A light blush filled Kris' face and he laughed, glancing away. "You were holding me. And you kissed me." He stopped speaking then and Adam waited, watching him. "And then I woke up and you weren't here."
"I'm here now," Adam heard himself say. It was true. Adam wanted to be able to say that every day.
Kris watched him for a minute, his eyes warm and thoughtful. "Yeah. You are." He smiled again.
Adam sat up and leaned his body down to where Kris lay on the bed. He tasted Kris' smiles as he kissed him long and slow, mouths and eyes open.
They pulled away together. Kris started to laugh. "Um, I think we should probably brush our teeth now."
Adam rolled his eyes at Kris, grinning. "Well, good morning to you too."
