Personally, I believe that Taser itself should be held liable for this sort of thing. I am totaly against prosecuting gun companies for such deaths, but this thing is more ( Read more... )

They are advertised as less-than-lethal, which means that they aren't intended to be lethal but they can kill if used aggressively enough. This applies to most household objects. The only distinction between non-lethal an less-than-lethal is that less-than-lethal items are intended to be used aggressively. For example, a toaster, normally considered non-lethal, becomes lethal if used with sufficient aggression against someone. This is murder.
Police are trained on how Tasers can kill. The police murdered.
Whether or not they will be held responsible for the death is another argument that I won't make.
