Washed off the mud from a recent drive through hwy 52, changed the wiper blades, greased the clutch fork, changed the oil and added leak stop additive.

I replaced the clutch master cylinder on my Blazer. It went from working perfectly to losing pressure overnight. It was under warranty from the last time I replaced it a little over two years ago.
I picked up a electric radiator fan at the flea market. I am considering replacing the belt driven fan. Just need a temperature and relay. -

New tires for the Blazer. 43311 miles. BF Goodrich M/T KM2 31X10.50R15LT. Aggressive tread, love it. The Trazanos were money well spent but they were nearly bald and I had a half-dollar size chunk missing from the tread of the right rear. Sometime last week, after starting my Blazer, I heard some unusual noise from the engine, like a chatter. I couldn't pinpoint it because it soon went away but it seemed to be coming from either the front of the left head or from behind the timing chain cover ( Read more... ) -

On Sunday, I replaced the distributor on my Blazer with a new one I picked up at the flea market a few months ago. I should have put it on immediately. Instant 20+HP boost. I didn't even adjust the timing. I just put it in the same spot as the old one. -

Blazer engine missing. Cleaning spark plugs and verifying spark didn't help.
Decided plugs, wires, cap, and rotor needed to be replaced. $85. Correct decision. -

Yesterday, I found another Sony ICF-24 AM/FM portable radio at the flea market for $5. It needed a bit of solder repair on the circuit board. A RF shield pulled up and tore a trace leading to the volume knob so it was stuck at full volume. I fixed it and it seems to work great. I can't help but think it is my old one. -
