So I just spent a ridiculous amount of money on a prophet pass for Jus in Bello 2 in Rome. It gets me front row seating, 1 seat to the left of center (looking at the stage), front of the line privileges whenever I want them, star table seating at the cocktail party, and most importantly, meet and greets with everyone ( Read more... )

You know that I think you're absolutely crazy to do this lol, but I'm super happy for you :D first row is awesome. I wish my pass # would be a little higher, so that I'd sit more near you (even if it's one row behind :P) but eh, can't have everything.

As for your angel pass, I'll ask around. I have some friends who wanted to go, but didn't catch an AP. I'll let you know if something comes up :)

good luck!!! i think the lower ones won't be so bad, but as you said will be away from your better AP seat

(thanks for not driving up prices while i was bidding.. i did the same for Silvia, knowing that she would pay anything for PP1. well, probably not ANYTHING, but i knew more than i'd be willing to pay and so figured why bother bidding)

it does suck that that 1 M&G is the only one not included. though i'm interested in seeing what the "other thing" is from your email..

it'll be interesting to see who lucius and the vampire are in person...

my advice to you - figure out what the absolute most is you're willing to pay, wait until 15 seconds are left, and put in that number. you can't be upset if someone beats you by 10 euro, because you wouldn't be willing to pay that much. and most likely, you'd get it for less than that.

We will see. right now it seems like people are getting desperate and to get a PP at all, they go way over what they were willing to pay at first.
But we will see.

will be away from your better AP seat
I think I'm sitting behind PP5 now, so I guess the move to the front row would still outweight the move to the side for up to PP8, maybe PP9. After that, nope don't think so.

that that 1 M&G is the only one not included
Yeah, but hey, at least I knew before. It might not be the only m&g not available for extra booking, as they said. so at least here I knew before the other passes were sold. but on the other hand it's also the thing that the sane part of my brain tries to convince me off - you are only considering to go proghet for this one little 20 minute-meeting.
All the other meetings are sure to be interesting as well and I would love to be in them, but they wouldn't really make me go prophet.

it'll be interesting to see who lucius and the vampire are in person...My guess is that TheVampire ( ... )

yeah i noticed that too... #1 has been the cheapest. and i agree - I think people are getting desperate and didn't think other people would be as crazy as they were... another reason why i wanted to get it done and over with (and why I bid on the very first one last year even though it wasn't the best)

i agree about bad bidding techniques and responses. I understand putting in one bid at the low end if noone else has bid on one yet.. sort of like saying "dibs" if anyone knows you and is a nice person, though raising it a few minutes before it ends is just silly.

Call me part of the crazy people PP07 is MINE!
Two places more to the side as my AP, but with the move to the front I guess it's still a better place.

*clings*
I thought the Korean bidder would strike again, since that name was for a while leading in two auctions (maybe like the twins from last time).
Wonder what happened to theVampire...probably not online for some reason, because I was sure, that would be the next person to win.

30 seconds, huh? Okay, suddenly I feel not so crazy anymore for spending this absurd amount of money for a whole weekend. ;)
And if the Wil makes you go crazy, I hope you enjoy The Big Bang Theory these days.

I absolutely love how crazy you all are. I'm not sure if I could ever justify it to myself, but then maybe I'd always wonder....
