mending inside... somewhere

someone very smart told me something last night that has stuck in my head. we don't get to choose the people we care for. and just because you're not friends anymore, doesn't mean you don't still love them and it doesn't mean that it is easy to let go.

makes me feel a little less two-faced. maybe i'm not quite as horrible as i think i am... maybe
