It's been a while since I've had a weight loss update so here is goes. I've lost 40.8 lbs. so far. I'm almost to my next 10% weight goal!

Just got home from the parade...so much fun. This was the first Pride with Sarah since she was out of town last year. Thanks Jay and Mat for coming down and hanging out with us...I miss you guys.

I've learned a thing or two today.

1. Never get a fridge from someone who smokes if you don't.
2. A fridge will get full of tar from cigarettes.
3. You can take a fridge apart to clean it throughly.
4. If the cleaner you bought just won't do the job on the tar, try toothpaste...it works on teeth, why not plastic?

i guess one person's song about battling infertility is another person's song about how they feel about their significant other. LOL

For the first time in who knows how long, I weigh under 200 pounds. I weighed in this morning and it said 198.6. Sarah and I are both doing so well with our weight loss. We've both gone down sizes and it feels great to have to get rid of clothes because they are now way too big. It's great.

"Houston was named MapQuest's hardest city to navigate Wednesday. Need to know why?" This headline was pulled from the Houston Chronicle. I want to tell them that I know why. Today I drove down 610, near Kirby. Yep, where Astroworld used to be. Even more so used to be...the land is completely cleared. I saw it the other day, but today it made me kind of sad. It's like a huge piece of my childhood just go wiped out. I remember going there during the summer with my sister and cousins. We used to have so much fun. Good ( Read more... )
