Hello again!
So...I've been kind of missing lj lately and think I'll come back. I feel like I have a little more substance to my life now and may actually have something to journal about. When I stopped using my journal it seemed like every time I tried to type an entry I had absolutely nothing to say. So I hope you gals will have me back!

Short storm update
We made it through the storm. Wasn't too bad here--winds averaged around 40mph with higher gusts at times. That was all day yesterday, last night and today. Power was off for just short of 24 hours. That sucked but we lived. The problem now is that the rain WILL NOT STOP. News update just issued a tornado warning as I typed that sentence. No ( Read more... ) -
Hurricane talk...what else is there to talk about?!
I'm posting this link just for reference for those who aren't following as closely. A lot of what I'm saying is discussed in this article. And for those who don't know, we are in northeastern LA so, even though we will likely get some bad weather, we are out of the really severe weather range so we should be just fine.

The busyness is following me these days, I swear. Right now I really need to be cleaning, showering, or getting in bed. I'm really trying to get these posts closer together.

I know I promised a picture post, I just didn't have time to sit down and upload them to Photobucket yet. I was on a cleaning frenzy today but since that's done I should have time tomorrow.

Hi! Remember me?
So I've not made an update in FOREVER! It seems like I'm never home long enough to sit down and type up a post. Every time I have a few minutes and think about posting Dillan is behind me saying "Momma I need this and Momma I need that" so I never get anywhere.
Dillan will be starting 3 year old preschool on Wednesday. I'm excited and nervous ( Read more... ) -

Going to Tunica, MS tomorrow to see my hubby finally! Not sure when we'll be back. So obviously I won't be around for a few days. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! -
What to do
And I forgot...I have a dillema that I need help with. 3 of my cousins graduate on Friday--2 at one school and 1 at another. Both graduations are at the same time. My mom is going to the graduation on her side of the family and my dad is going to the one on his side. How in the world do I decide which one to go to?!
