What I've been reading: July
What with making a four-day train journey across the US, spending two weeks with three ladies on a farm in Oregon, taking a long, significantly delayed plane journey to the UK, then coming back to the UK and being unemployed, I read a bit more than average in July.

For the record, I would like to start using this more. Because Facebook is a little unsatisfactory, for no other reason than talking about yourself in the third person all the time can get creepy after a while. -

I initially felt ridiculous that I needed to google for vocabulary lists to play pictionary -- it's possible that I have reached the limit of laziness when thinking up a list of varied, simple nouns is too difficult. First day at work
Today I stood in front of a class of a dozen ~20 year old Francophones and explained in clear and well enunciated English that my name is Kirsty, I am from Scotland, and I like Star Wars and knitting. The final exam timetable is up. Scanning the list of courses, half looking for my own and half seeking some meager comfort in the though that at least I am not obliged to sit through Software Engineering in Java Paper 1; it could be worse after all, etc. I then see the exam titled Fear and Stress Analysis B. It seems in theme.
