I bought the Subaru Forester. The color I liked finally came in and I took it for a test drive. They got the price down to what I can afford to pay, plus my insurance is supposed to go down, possibly $300 a year--- not sure how it's cheaper to have a new car than a 5 year old one. Also my Spectra was going to need it's brakes done at some point

We used to drive Subarus when we lived in western Montana. Almost everyone did. So it should be good in snow. Our new car also caused our insurance to go down. New safety features or something.
