I love this! I once took part in an anthology. We authors all took one book and mailed it amongst ourselves and signed it for the one who edited / compiled the book. Our book went between Europe and the USA plus a stop in Australia! Your entry reminds me of that event!

I really like the ending. The author or title don't matter, it's true, because the story is the journey the book is on.
