What an Idea! I really loved the concept of a travelling book which has memories of its own. Superb take!

I totally want to do this and for some reason I think it would work well with If on a winter's night a traveler.

I've considered doing this. But not with notes or letters. Just one note about the traveling book, and making a Facebook page for the people who have had the book to post on.

How fun! You ought to start a traveling book!

In all seriousness, I once saw a recommendation for beginning authors to intentionally leave their books at places like bus stops so that someone might read it, enjoy it, and tell others.

I loved this idea, and the voices and circumstances of the various notes left behind. :)

"Get a copy of your favorite book, leave a note in it, and see how far it can go! It will appreciate the journey."

And that is exactly what I wanted to do after the first note!

Wonderful take on the prompt! Fantastic!

If you find a cope of To Kill a Mockingbird with a note in it, please pass it on.
