I just won a competitive scholarship from the Department of Anthropology. I've never won anything in my life... much less a scholarship. Its actually hard for me to conceptualize at this moment because I thought all my work was crap... apparently its the type of crap the research and scholarship committee appreciates. Woot!

Unfortunately. But I've made friends with one of the guards, and I'm planning my escape very soon. It will be fast and they won't even know it was me.
