the ebb and flow of life
It always helps to have someone or something in your life that brings a little perspective. For me, its definitely Keara. She turned 2 on Monday, and I can't believe it. I'm a G... hands down.
I just won a competitive scholarship from the Department of Anthropology. I've never won anything in my life... much less a scholarship. Its actually hard for me to conceptualize at this moment because I thought all my work was crap... apparently its the type of crap the research and scholarship committee appreciates. Woot! -

Well, I talked to the Dean's Office today. Apparently, I missed a citation on my project. I actually didn't "miss" it, it just should have been in a different location. I still think that my professor could have talked to me personally about this but whatever. The rules say I'm supposed to get a zero on the project, but the officer took mercy on me ( Read more... ) -

Well, it is the end of my first full-time semester since I had the baby. It has been stressful and hectic especially since the hubby is in school too. All that was going over well, and I actually had good grades in everything. That is until yesterday. I'm feeling honest... and maybe a little generous.
I haven't been on here in a while, mostly because I haven't had anything thoughtful to write. And maybe this isn't as provocative as I think it is, but its time to get a few things out.
