The Caribbean

The trip down went well, except the plane had to be de-iced--sort of like going through an enormous car wash!

But the view is great here, and it's lovely and warm!

No kidding? This is editing month?

Because that's what I'm doing, but I didn't know it was official!

I gutted some and it's now being slowly replaced. I have three chapters to go, and then I start over again to polish...sigh: it's endless.

Lovely photograph, dark blue sky...

I believe it is officially so, March is NaNoEdMo . . . of course I blush to say that I am still in Wri mode, not yet Ed mode . . . but the good thing is, it's getting written!

This weekend I have a few more meetings, and then next week it's a holiday. I may go hop to another island for a day as well as take time to go kayaking or hiking . . . but gotta write!

Glad you enjoyed the photo, more on the way!

where in the caribbean is this? It always looks the same to me ;) I still like the weather that we have here over the one there... but this time of year, the temps should still be nice, unless you get a lot of sea breeze, which is the best to get (unless you are made out of metal, of course).

Well, right now I'm in the USVI, so the temperatures are in the 70's, maybe up to the 80's if it is unusually warm. So the temperatures are fine.

Well, if you are made out of metal, you will corrode--it is amazing how the sea air just devours everything! Let's hear it for mahogany and lignum vitae!

ah, OK... I was born and grew up near there (as opposed to the other side of the caribbean). Funny that I don't take to that weather as much anymore... it throws people off.

But then, a good reason to go, is that there is so much rust and splintered wood, hence a lot of the pictures that I take when I visit ;)

have a blast while there. (I know, you need this kind of reminders LOL!!!)
