Happy Tuesday!

We got to Genoa on Sunday after a very tiring trip: a delayed flight to Milan, lost luggage, the bus to the central train station in Milan, then the train from Milan to Genoa and then finally arriving at where we are staying. It was an arduous trip!

Hi there!

It is lovely here but an odd mixture of heavy industry and fantastic architecture in the city.

The luggage came, and I am delighted!

The luggage came!

That was a very good thing.

Back at work today, solid meetings this PM.

Thanks for the (undeserved) admiration!

That's a beautiful view. It's getting me geared up for my solo trip to Italy (vacation) next spring!

It is lovely, we walked on the waterfront after dinner!

Where will you vacation in Italy?

Have a good day!

Well it sounds like you have a good overview of Italy planned for the holiday!

The Toscana is rocking and beautiful so Siena and other places there are great.

I am liking Genoa, and also Trieste and Bologna.

Is there an Italy community in LJ? Maybe that will have some ideas?

Happy Thursday!

Flashing back to my Zurich-to-Milan flight (during Alitalia's strike last year), the bus to the train station, finding the right train, getting to Parma ... luckily all the Italians around me were fascinating, no matter how tired I was.

I think my fav moment was when my suitcase seemed lost. Signora Luggage Assistance: "I will pray for you."

I was in Genoa so so long ago, but I remember great food and views, and that I liked it every so much more than Naples.

Enjoy your view, make a great business alliance, and take more photos!

Lord, what a nightmare you went through!

Genoa is very good so far--plus the luggage came last night, so I am happy!

Getting lots done, and now the meetings start . . .

Hi there!

Genoa is in Italy, on the Mediterranean coast, not far from Nice in France.

It's actually on the "Riviera Ligura," on the Italian Riviera.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
