I've been noticing that a lot pf people are concerned about the cranes being thrown out and stuff because of size. That got me thinking, why don't we take another page out of the Chankapanna's book and make a video of our cranes? If everyone takes a picture of their cranes, I would be wiling to make a video collage and post it on YouTube. That way

This way others who are not capable of sending cranes can participate too. Also less worries that our cranes wouldn't be able to reach them just co'z there's no paper that's thin enough to pass JE's standards when folded into a crane.
Ah also maybe sending a picture of our paper cranes would do?
Thank you for your efforts btw. <3

Hmm maybe a project then? I heard there's a trending project next week. Maybe if you can get the Hyphens to tweet photos of their cranes along with the hash tag you can save all the pictures?

There are some pictures on the FB page that I was going to use, but I'll talk to the people running the Twitter event to see if they're willing to help with this.

But then it'll be good if everyone write country from which crane was made (like for me Serbia) on the photo, so that boys still know that project is really worldwide :)

I see that for example moveslikekame misunderstood already, and I'm afraid many other people are going to. If people start thinking this is the arrival point, and not a side miniproject, of all this crane thing, all the efforts put are becoming useless.
Think about it: it actually has no meaning sending out a video "hey see how many cranes you're gonna receive!" if at the end just few people send them out and the boys don't see actual cranes arriving... right? It'd also be kinda sad.
So I approve the video idea, but I think that at this stage it's better that everyone puts effort in actually physically sending them out before the deadline. When we are sure many people sent them already, then we can think about a video.
It's a matter of step order. :)

Sorry, I should have asked you guys first before posting it here.

And I really do like the video idea! ^^
It's just that it's something we can do only after a certain stage, when we have many photos, and some actual proof that cranes are really on their way to Japan (i.e., people saying "I sent them!"). Otherwise it's just pumping up expectations for nothing, it might be counter-productive. :/
