If figured I had nothing to lose, I might as well ask Houston why I didn't get the job. She wrote back right away and said that they were both very impressed by me, and even more so that I sent a thank you e-mail and asked for feedback, it's just the timing. I've been trying to catch up on what's new with you as well as others. I'm glad you asked for feedback b/c I think not knowing why you didn't get a job can make someone kinda nuts and worried that it's them. I'm the same way.

I'll try to poke around and see if there is anything you might be able to apply for. Are you looking for entry level meterology lab work?

Yeah, actually, entry-level lab work is exactly what I'm looking for! I don't really have much interest in getting on TV, what excites me is the research part. I'd appreciate that, thanks!

BTW, check out a local Adecco branch if you have one. We have a scientific and technical division so you might find something. We've had quite a few scientists through major companies.

What they say actually makes a lot of sense: I was warned several times that it's much more difficult to start during the spring semester because the school year is scheduled fall-spring, and so they're less willing to bring in new students in the middle of the year.

Yeah I figured I'd have a harder time getting in for January. I just don't want to wait another year and a half to get started haha! I'll see what happens... I could always apply for Spring and if I get told no there's nothing stopping me from trying again in the Fall.
