Tonight I read on Facebook that my grandfather's cat, who has lived with my family for the past 9 years, had to be put to sleep. While that in itself is sad, I can't decide whether or not I'm more upset that I first learned on Facebook. Feeling tired. You know what sucks about having a baby? Ok I hate poetry, but I'm fascinated by Christina Rossetti because of a story conveyed in The Tattooed Potato and Other Clue, by Ellen Raskin. (which if you haven't read it, it is GREAT. Hopefully whoever I'm thinking of is still reading their LJ friends lists, but Ellen Raskin's books such as "The Mysterious Disappearance of Leon, I Mean Noel" and "The Tattooed Potato and Other Clues" are being reprinted in new editions! I'm excited!
