Well, it's been so long since I've updated I don't know if I've mentioned it. I have decided to get a masters degree in Social Work. There are a lot of different things I can do with that degree, including counseling, which is what I would really like to do. Or maybe be a school social worker. It really sucks when you eat the healthiest foods for two weeks and exercise everyday for one of those weeks and you only lose 1 pound. All I can do is keep doing what I'm doing and hope it will eventually work...but I can't know for sure that it will and that is killing me. It has never been this difficult for me to lose weight. Ok, so totally rethinking the teaching thing...it's just that the FCAT sucks and teachers all seem to hate there jobs. I've been imagining IB type of classes, but that's not the way it is for almost all teachers, b/c some schools don't have IB. Merry Christmas!

I got a diamond necklace (it's just a circle of diamonds but I really wanted it) and diamond stud earrings. :) Then I got a lot of DVDs. Jamie got me a book with cd's to learn Italian so that's cool...she got me the movie "Life is Beautiful" too so I can learn Italian and then watch it without subtitles. Very cute gift.

Two weeks ago I went to the doctor after finally giving in to 7 weeks of cold-like symptoms...he said I had a sinus infection and gave me antibiotics...I didn't get better so I went back the other day and I have pneumonia...it's weird b/c when I went to him before he said my lungs sounded great. Sent my resume to FWBHS today...the principal said they'll have 4 opennings in May, so that's better than 3...that got me all happy...then I found out Choctaw has an openning starting in January, so I called about that, but the principal was in a meeting, so let's hope she calls back. Made me even happier...made it a very good day.

People down the street from my mom's house have decorated for Christmas with a lot of those inflatable things...we consider this a challenge. We always have the best yard on the block for Christmas, and we do it without that inflatable crap. They're going to be put to shame when our lights are done ( Read more... )
