Rejected...and I was so looking forward to having one steady job.

Everyone is sick of hearing about it, but I'm the one suffering...hopefully tomorrow I'll find out about that job!

A few days ago a truck pulled down our cable line, and I guess they didn't do a good job of fixing it, b/c it's down again and we're the only ones without cable...and we're all home and so bored. I can't sleep for fear of tornadoes...every time I hear the wind howling I think it's a tornado, and I sleep with my right under my window so I keep imagining things flying through it...and this storm is hundreds of miles away. What the hell...everything is closing. Barnes and Noble, where my sister still works, is closing down today, as far as I know my work is closed tomorrow, and schools are closed tomorrow. 5 days ago, Katrina was expected to hit my area as a category one or possibly a two...now we are so thankful it kept going west b/c damn, that thing is a five. It seems that the gulf is really conducive to strong hurricanes right now, so lets hope another one isn't brewing ( Read more... )

I wish Katrina would just make up her mind! Yesterday it was projected to hit pretty far east of here, and now it's supposed to hit around Louisiana, so it's like what are we supposed to trust?
