I have officially moved into my sister's place, and it's just weird.

I'm so bad at taking criticism. Today the teacher I subbed for on Tuesday told me that her translator/aide/whatever told her the ESOL kids were walking all over me. Out of 3 ESOL classes, 2 students gave me trouble, and by trouble I mean that kept trying to get out of doing work when all they really had to do in class was do any work from any class ( Read more... )

My grandma fell and broke her hip today. She's 81. She's having surgery tomorrow...it wasn't a bad break, she doesn't need a replacement. How much is everyone else paying for gas? I think we're pretty lucky here...prices are ranging from $2.74-$2.99 most recently. But then again, that's if you can find the one or two gas stations that actually have gas. You keep hearing about everything that Texas and Alabama are doing for the hurricane victims, but I never heard them mention Florida helping them out. Subbed at Choctaw today...pep rally day. I had to get out of duty to go to the pep rally and it was worth it, although it wasn't as entertaining as I remember and it's sad not having a year or class to yell out ("0-6!" or "Seniors!").
