Today is one of those gorgeous, mountain air days. The sun is bright and the sky is purest blue, but the wind has that brisk, fresh, almost biting feel that it has when you're close to Mount Shasta. Oh my gosh. I never really liked Bob Costas, but now I really don't. Or was anyone else vaguely repulsed by the fact that Mick Jagger now looks like an emo kid, complete with midriff-baring and nearly emasculating pants? And what's even sadder is that was probably the part of this year's Superbowl that will stick in my mind the most. That, and the fact that Roethlisberger SO did not make that touchdown.

I watched my fish die this morning.

It's hard to watch life expire, even if it's just the death throes of a little fish. Poor Percy lived up to his name as a fighting fish--he fought valiantly, but his little body stiffened up until he couldn't push his way up to breathe anymore.

Sigh.

And, hooray of all hoorays, my computer is finally whole again. My cat is banned from my room forthwith.

So I'm not one to follow lurid Hollywood relationships, but I have to say, from the exposure that I do see, in TV Guide articles and such, I have to ask WHAT is the deal with the cutesy little couple nicknames?
