i have one final on friday, and then i'm done with college. i never have to go to a class again. my life will never revolve around homework again. crazy!

i still haven't gotten used to the idea. i wonder when i will.

who wants to live in the Galapagos with me? i just got back to Quito, and all i want to do is get back on the boat and spend my life swimming with sea turtles and running away from sea lion bulls. and yelling "BOOBIE!!!" every time i see a blue-footed boobie.

oy. the hormones are fighting back big time this month. sometimes being a girl sucks. like the times when i'm irrationally mean/rude/dramatic/depressed/crying at the drop of a hat because the hormones are in overdrive.

i don't know how to deal with this. and it's taking over every aspect of my life.

so my host grandma has Parkinson's and has to use a walker, and isn't allowed to eat a ton of sweets because of something that happened in the past with her overmedicating. i don't understand the whole thing, but she tries to sneak into the kitchen when the family is gone and eat all the ice cream. the host fam isn't here, and she just discovered ( Read more... )

Oh man am I bored. I've been stuck inside the last 24 hours or so with food poisoning, and it seems to be mostly over, although I still can't put much in my stomach.
